SECONDS SALE: EARLY BIRD ACCESS Starts APRIL 29th

As April closes, we are reflecting on the importance of Autism Acceptance Month and celebrating the differences that make life joyful, fun, and interesting. In the spirit of fostering a more inclusive world, we're thrilled to announce our upcoming INAUGURAL SECONDS SALE. 


This isn't just any sale. It's an opportunity to shine a light on a cause near and dear to our hearts while bringing a touch of tranquility into your home. 

Smellin' good, doin' good, feelin' good

A $20 EARLY BIRD ticket will grant you 24 hour early access to shop the sale before the general public and get first dibs on your favorite scents and whatever other treasures you can discover. In honor of April being Autism Acceptance Month, the full cost of your ticket goes directly to support The Channing's Joy Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting Autism acceptance and inclusion of all people with support needs. ALL proceeds go to support families of children with special needs and/or organizations whose mission is to promote inclusion. Donations go to help these families afford therapy and other resources.


At Hummingbird, our commitment to this cause is deeply personal. Three of the amazing mamas who form the backbone of Hummingbird Candle Co. have children on the Autism spectrum. Their experiences, joys, and challenges inspire us daily to create a world where differences are celebrated, not stigmatized. 

What even is a second?

A second is a slightly imperfect candle that we aren't able to sell at full-price. They are still beautiful, useful, functional, and safe. There are so many reasons a candle can be a second—the wick may have set a little wonky and off-center, the scent may have been discontinued by our supplier or our creative team, or the vessels were used for a special occasion and we have extras! Because we value sustainability and limiting the waste we produce at Hummingbird, we want these candles to have a second life, even if they aren't up to our aesthetic standards. Important note: Seconds Sale candles are NON-REFUNDABLE.


For $20, you will get 24 hour early access to shop the sale. The full price of this ticket goes directly to THE CHANNING'S JOY FOUNDATION to support the financial needs of families of children with support needs.


There are limited numbers of each item, so getting in early is going to give you so many more options from which to shop.

  1.  Early Bird Tickets are $20 and will be on sale from Tuesday, April 23rd until  Sunday, April 28th at 11:59 PM.
  2. At purchase, you will receive your entry code in your email. SAVE THIS EMAIL!
  3.  Early Bird Sale begins: Monday, April 29th at 8 AM. You will use your code to enter into the site and shop!
  4. Sale becomes open to public: Tuesday, April 30th at 8 AM. 
  5. Location: ONLINE
